ShineMD hides many age related light swirl marks in paint by building up a new, flatter surface over the swirls that reflects light in one uniform direction, instead of breaking up those reflections like swirl damage does and scattering them all in different directions. Swirls and deep scratches are different however, and even ShineMD can’t replace paint or clearcoat that’s just not there anymore… yet!

Technically speaking, “Ceramic” materials are the materials that aren’t “metallic” or “organic.” But within its category, Graphene is a material like no other. While 200x harder to tear than steel, it also interacts with UV in exotic ways no other ceramics can that virtually stops UV driven chemical aging. Even outside of our industry, its unique electrical properties are being harnessed to create a new era of graphene computer chips.

You can use ShineMD anywhere on the outside of your car! If there are areas with plastics or trim that you don’t want to make shinier, keep that in mind. However, if you test on a small area and do like the way it looks - we recommend you use ShineMD on plastics so UV/Sunlight can’t bleach or age your plastics.
